About the programme

Description

One of the major demands raised by HNN has been the development of an inclusive policy for the urban and rural poor, people with disabilities, marginalised communities and displaced people.

HNN organised policy advocacy workshops with HomeNet South Asia, GLI and FES (2006), and was represented on the committee formed by the Ministry of Cooperative and Poverty Alleviation, contributing to the draft Poverty Alleviation National Policy submitted to the National Planning Commission in 2015.
